Privacy

Short version: we collect as little as possible, never sell it, and delete it when you ask.

What we collect

Newsletter signup: your email address, the time you signed up, and your IP address.
Tool submissions and featured-slot requests: the details you type into the form, your email, the time, your IP address and your browser's user-agent.
Payments: handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe's own checkout page. We receive your name, email and the amount paid, never your card details.

Browsing the directory does not require an account and sets no tracking cookies. A setting such as light or dark theme may be saved in your own browser's storage.

Why

Emails: to send the weekly newsletter and to reply about submissions or featured slots.
IP addresses and user-agent: only to block spam and abuse of the forms.

Where it's stored and for how long

Data is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this site. Spam-protection counters expire automatically within an hour. Newsletter emails and submissions are kept until you ask us to delete them. Payment records are kept as long as required for accounting.

Your choices

Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe option. To see, correct or delete anything we hold about you, email zeroguesswork.co@gmail.com and we will act within 30 days.

Third parties

Tool icons are loaded from Google's favicon service, which receives the address of the tool's website. Links to tools take you to their own sites, which have their own privacy policies.
