Linktree vs Stan Store (2026): which should creators use?
Link-in-bio storefront for selling digital products, courses and bookings.
Linktree is a link-in-bio page first, with a free plan that includes unlimited links. Stan Store is a paid store built for selling digital products, courses and calls from your bio link. If you just need a tidy page of links, Linktree Free is enough. If selling is the point, look at Stan.
Quick verdict

- Pick Stan Store if you sell digital downloads, coaching or courses and want checkout built into the link page.
Side-by-side comparison

| Free plan | Yes: unlimited links, core appearance options, basic analytics | No free plan |
| Paid plans | Starter, Pro, Premium; prices shown in local currency, discounted yearly | Creator $29/mo ($300/yr), Creator Pro $99/mo ($948/yr); 14-day free trial, no free plan |
| Selling | Monetisation tools on Pro; commerce on Premium | The core of the product |
| Branding removal | Premium | Not stated on Stan's pricing page |
| Seller fees | Varies by plan; rates not published on the pages we read | 0% (Stripe or PayPal processing only) |
Linktree's pricing page shows prices by region, so we can't quote one USD figure. Stan's own pricing page lists Creator at $29/mo ($300/yr) and Creator Pro at $99/mo ($948/yr), with a 14-day free trial and 0% transaction fees.
The fee question
The real comparison is what each takes from a sale. Stan says both its plans take 0% of sales; you pay the flat $29 or $99 plus Stripe or PayPal processing. Linktree's help center says its transaction fee on digital products "varies by your Linktree plan", with Stripe's 2.9% + $0.30 per purchase on top, but it doesn't list the rates. Check your plan's rate inside Linktree before you compare.
A worked example on Stan Creator: sell 20 copies of a $15 preset pack ($300) and you pay $29 plus processing, about 10% of revenue. Sell 100 copies ($1,500) and the same $29 is under 2%. A flat fee gets cheaper the more you sell; a percentage fee doesn't.
What you give up
- Choosing Linktree: selling is an add-on, and the fee depends on your plan.
- Choosing Stan: no free plan, so you pay $29/mo after the 14-day trial even in months you sell nothing.
Which should you pick?
- New creator, no products yet: Linktree Free.
- You sell a template pack, preset or guide every week: Stan Store, so the checkout lives on the page.
- You also want email marketing included: compare with Beacons, which publishes its fees. See Beacons vs Stan Store.
More options: sell digital products from your link in bio.
