What counts as a verified badge
- A link to shortstack.tools (the homepage or your tool page), on your homepage or footer.
- You may add rel="nofollow" or rel="sponsored" to the link if your site's policy requires it. Either way it counts.
- Shown to every visitor, not behind a cookie banner, A/B test or login.
- In the page's HTML. If your site adds it later with JavaScript and our check misses it, reply to your confirmation email and we'll check by hand.
Weekly re-checks
We re-check badges every week. If a badge comes down, we'll email you first; listings without a badge may be removed.
Questions
Do I have to add the badge to get listed?
Yes, for new free listings. The badge is how a free directory keeps going: it costs nothing, and it shows your users where to compare your real prices. Paid sponsors are listed without one.
Can I change the size?
Yes. Keep the width and height in proportion (220 by 56), for example 165 by 42 on mobile.
Why a plain img tag in React?
next/image would need extra config for an outside image and would route a tiny file through your server for no gain. A plain a and img tag is simpler and loads fast.
