n8n is an automation tool that connects apps with a visual editor. Its Community edition is free to run on your own computer or server, for example with Docker (official guide). n8n also sells a hosted cloud version with its own pricing (n8n pricing).
How the downloads work
Each workflow is a JSON file you import into n8n. Open a workflow page, enter your email, and the download link appears. Nothing in the files includes passwords or keys: you add your own accounts after importing.
