Which one for Shorts, TikTok and Reels?
Shorts and TikToks are 1080 x 1920, so Clipchamp's free 1080p cap is not a problem. Resolve supports vertical timelines and exports in 4K free, but takes longer to learn. If you post daily and edit quickly, Clipchamp is enough. If you film on a good camera and grade footage, Resolve is worth the learning time.
How to choose
- Need edits done today? Clipchamp.
- Have a capable computer and want full control? Resolve.
