Which one for YouTube thumbnails and Shorts covers?
A thumbnail needs a clear face or object, high contrast and 3 words or fewer. Generated images are a starting point, then you add your face and text in a design tool like Canva. If you already pay $20 for ChatGPT Plus for scripts, try its images first before adding Midjourney at $8 to $10 a month.
How to choose
- Already paying for ChatGPT? Test its images first.
- Need a consistent art style across a series? Midjourney is built only for images.
- Finish thumbnails in a design tool, where you can add real text and your photo.
