Quick answer: price per video = average views ÷ 1,000 × CPM. With Modash's published ranges, a TikTok with 50,000 average views comes to about $350 to $1,250, and a Reel with 50,000 views about $750 to $2,250. There is no reliable public data for YouTube Shorts. Estimates only.

How the estimate works

Brands often judge creator deals by CPM, short for cost per mille: what they pay for every 1,000 views. The calculator takes your average views, divides by 1,000 and multiplies by the low and high CPM for your platform. It then multiplies by the number of videos in the deal.

Use your average views, not your best video. A brand will look at your recent videos, and an honest number makes the quote easier to defend.

Only ranges published by an industry source are used. Modash says its table is not from a large quantitative study but from experience, conversations and anecdotes, mostly in the US and UK. YouTube, TikTok and Instagram do not publish sponsorship rates on their creator marketplace pages. No source we could verify publishes niche multipliers, so niche does not change the numbers.

What the calculator leaves out

  • Usage rights, such as a brand running your video as an ad.
  • Exclusivity, which stops you working with competitors for a time.
  • Extra work: scripts, revisions, travel or products you have to buy.
  • Your audience country and age, which brands often ask about.

Questions

How much should I charge for a sponsored TikTok?

A common starting point is your average views ÷ 1,000 × a CPM range. Modash publishes $7 to $25 per 1,000 views for TikTok videos, so a TikTok with 50,000 average views comes to about $350 to $1,250. Treat it as an estimate, not a rate card.

How much should I charge for a sponsored Instagram Reel?

Using Modash's published range of $15 to $45 per 1,000 views for Reels, a Reel with 50,000 average views comes to about $750 to $2,250.

How much do brands pay for a sponsored YouTube Short?

We could not find reliable public data. The published ranges we found cover long-form YouTube integrations and dedicated videos, not Shorts, so this calculator does not estimate a Shorts price.

What does CPM mean in a brand deal?

CPM stands for cost per mille, the price per 1,000 views (or impressions). If a brand pays $500 for a video that gets 50,000 views, the CPM is $10.

Does my niche change what I can charge?

It can. Modash says: "Typically, the broader the audience, the lower the CPM." No source we could verify publishes niche multipliers, so the calculator does not change the numbers by niche. It only tells you which end of the range to aim for.

Should I give a discount for several videos?

This calculator multiplies the per-video price by the number of videos, with no discount, because we found no published data on package discounts. Any discount is your call.
