You also need a personal account in good standing, and you must live in a country where the program is available. After you join, only original, public videos of at least 1 minute earn. TikTok doesn't publish a full country list on the pages we checked, so the app is the best place to confirm you can join.

Eligible countries
TikTok doesn't list every eligible country on the official pages we checked. Here is what those pages do say:
- United States: TikTok's US terms cover the program in the United States.
- European Economic Area (EEA): TikTok has separate EEA terms. They say the program is "available only in selected countries" but don't name them.
- Everywhere else: TikTok's announcement only says the program runs "where the program is available."
To check your own country, open Creator tools in the TikTok app. If the Creator Rewards Program shows up there, it is offered where you live.
How to join the Creator Rewards Program
- Check each rule above. Look at your last 30 days of views, not your all-time total.
- Use a personal account. Business accounts are not eligible.
- Open Creator tools in the app. This is where the program appears if it is offered to you.
- Apply. The US terms say you must "submit a complete Program application via the Platform or be invited directly by TikTok."
- Connect a payment method. The EEA terms refer to connecting one when you join.
- Post original videos of at least 1 minute. Shorter videos earn nothing from the program.
What earns after you join
- A qualified view is one where someone watches for five seconds or more (EEA terms).
- A video must reach at least 1,000 qualified views to earn (EEA terms).
- Duets, Stitches, Photo Mode posts, ads and sponsored content do not earn (EEA terms).
- TikTok says rewards depend on originality, play duration, search value and audience engagement.
